Scarlett has lived in many different states but has always considered Bend her home.  Growing up in Central Oregon she has enjoyed the wide open nature where she spends most of her time taking her two dogs on adventures.  Scarlett has always surrounded herself with animals, whether its fostering kittens, working with horses or just enjoying the company of her own animals.  She hopes to expand her knowledge with the opportunity the clinic has given her to one day get her veterinary technician certificate.

Amanda moved to Bend from California in 2020 and joined the High Desert Veterinary team in 2021. Amanda is an experienced Veterinary Assistant who has worked with animals in the veterinary field for 2 years and counting. Amanda has grown up with six family dogs and has always loved being surrounded by animals of all kinds. Amanda is excited to expand her knowledge of the veterinary field with hands on training at High Desert Veterinary with the hopes of one day becoming a registered veterinary technician. In her free time Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring nature, and of course anything animal related.
