Bridie (Bridget) O'Connor, DVM is originally from Whittier, California. She attended Whittier College where she majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After some time spent training horses and traveling, she attended veterinary school at the University of California, Davis. She then completed a small animal internship at the University of Pennsylvania where she acquired additional training in a variety of specialties and pursued research investigating retinal diseases in dogs. Dr. O’Connor has also spent time in Seattle where she practiced as a primary care veterinarian for 10 years and is certified in veterinary acupuncture.
While Dr. O'Connor loves being a veterinarian, she has many other interests when she is not practicing. She loves hiking, running, ballet, riding horses, travel, painting, and her Irish heritage (hence the Irish nickname "Bridie"). She is also currently pursuing her MBA. Dr. O'Connor is married and has a wonderful family that includes her husband (who is also a veterinarian), their two boys, as well as their dogs Maya and Poppy.
