Give your puppy a healthy start—and save money!—with our Healthy Puppy Program! For one low price, you can give your puppy maximum protection against the most common viruses that threaten dogs in Central Oregon. We offer four Healthy Puppy Programs tailored to your dog’s future lifestyle.
Which Healthy Puppy Program is right for my dog?
One of the first things we ask new puppy parents is, “What do you hope to do with your dog?” Based on your answer, we can help guide you to the Healthy Puppy Program that will best protect your new friend. Read on for more details about our four programs:
Program #1: Core Vaccines
Program #2: For Community Exposure (boarding, dog parks, daycare, groomers)
Program #3: Core Vaccines with Lepto (when Leptospiriosis is a concern in your area)
Program #4: For Hunting, Ranch and Camping Exposure
When should I start a Healthy Puppy Program?
Contact us when your puppy is two months old, so we can get your visits scheduled. We recommend starting the core vaccination series (along with deworming) when your puppy is 9 weeks old. Boosters are given at three-week intervals. The Rabies vaccine is administered when your puppy is 15 weeks of age.
Our Healthy Puppy Program also includes a discount on spay and neuter surgeries. We recommend waiting until your dog has achieved skeletal and reproductive maturity (one year old or later) before a spaying or neutering. Mounting evidence suggests this approach will give your dog added health benefits.
What does it cost?
Please contact us for current program fee. Our Healthy Kitten Programs offer savings up to 30% off standard exam and vaccine fees. Your program fee is payable upon your first visit; additional charges for spay and neuter surgeries are due at time of surgery. If you pay for the Healthy Kitten Program and do not complete the program, charges will revert to standard fees, and we will refund any fees paid in excess.
Healthy Puppy Program #2
Core Vaccines + Lepto
Our Healthy Puppy Program #2 includes core vaccines for the most common viruses we see in Central Oregon, including Distemper, Parvo and Rabies, with the addition of Leptospiriosis. This program also includes a 10% discount on spay and neuter surgeries (up to 2 years of age) and a 10% discount on microchipping (at time of vaccination or surgery). Once you’ve completed this Healthy Puppy Program, keep your dog healthy with a yearly vaccine booster.
What’s Included:
Three exams (four for small breeds)
One technician appointment
Three dewormings with Pyrantel pamoate
Two Rabies vaccinations
Three Distemper/Parvo vaccinations
Two Lepto vaccinations
10% discount on spay or neuter surgery
10% discount on microchipping
Healthy Puppy Program #1
Core Vaccines
Our Healthy Puppy Program #1 includes core vaccines for the most common viruses we see in Central Oregon, including Distemper, Parvo and Rabies. This program also includes a 10% discount on spay and neuter surgeries (up to 2 years of age) and a 10% discount on microchipping (at time of vaccination or surgery). Once you’ve completed this Healthy Puppy Program, keep your dog healthy with a yearly vaccine booster.

Healthy Puppy Program #3
Community Exposure
Our Healthy Puppy Program #3 is designed for puppies who frequent boarding facilities, groomers, daycare, and/or dog parks, but are rarely in wilderness areas or exposed to livestock or rodents. This program includes core vaccines for the most common viruses we see in Central Oregon, along with the Bordetella vaccine typically required by boarding facilities. This program also includes a 10% discount on spay and neuter surgeries (up to 2 years of age) and a 10% discount on microchipping (at time of vaccination or surgery). Once you’ve completed this Healthy Puppy Program, keep your dog healthy with a yearly vaccine booster.

One Bordetella vaccination

Healthy Puppy Program #4
Hunting, Ranch, Camping and Community Exposure
Our Healthy Puppy Program #4 is designed for puppies who spend time in the field, wilderness or on livestock operations, and may also visit dog parks, boarding facilities, groomers, or day care facilities. This program includes core vaccines for the most common viruses we see in Central Oregon, along with the Bordetella vaccine (typically required by boarding facilities) and Leptospiriosis vaccine. (A rattlesnake vaccine may be added at an additional cost.) This program also includes a 10% discount on spay and neuter surgeries (up to 2 years of age) and a 10% discount on microchipping (at time of vaccination or surgery). Once you’ve completed this Healthy Puppy Program, keep your dog healthy with a yearly vaccine booster.
