Telemedicine
Available for established clients.
Telemedicine is a convenient way to access our experience, expertise, prescribing ability, and time without physically attending your pet. Telemedicine is a good option when seeing your pet in person is not feasible or necessary, and a telephone consultation may serve the need. High Desert Veterinary offers the flexibility of telemedicine—when appropriate—to current pet patients.
About our Telemedicine Service
Eligibility
These pre-requisites must be met in order to be eligible for our telemedicine service:
Your pet is an established patient and has been seen in the clinic in the past 12 months.
Your account must be in good standing.
You must acknowledge that not all health problems can be adequately handled over the telephone, and a clinic visit or referral to a specialist or ER may be an unavoidable necessity.
Charges
Not all telephone conversations will incur a charge, but if a fee is appropriate, the client will be advised as such before the charge is incurred.
